Social Networks

Social networks are silly.  Facebook, Twitter, and My Space primarily consist of unintelligent drama (this is based on my own personal experience).  In addition, I think that social networks are an invasion of privacy.  Sometimes, one may have no control over what gets posted about himself/herself.  I understand that people use these networks to stay in contact with family and friends, but quite honestly, I manage to stay in contact with the people I want to without Facebook.  I want to be able to completely control what pictures I put on the Internet, as well as any information about me.  Facebook becomes a popularity contest over who has the most friends or the most comments on the wall.  Many "relationships" with Facebook "friends" are shallow and superficial.  Social networks aren't my thing...
